Do you look longingly at the beautiful lace shawls and scarves worn by other knitters and think "I could never do that?' Well you can and this class is designed to get you started. Instructor Donna Arney will walk the class step by step through the process of getting started on the Snowdrop Lace Scarf project, paying close attention to the areas many new lace knitters find tricky. If time permits, she also plans to demonstrate how to block a simple lace project.
Skill Level: Must be able to knit and purl comfortably
Material Fee: $5
Materials to bring: A 100 gram (400+ yard), wound skein of fingering weight yarn, size 4 and 5 knitting needles, 2 colors of stitch markers
